Just an occasional pic of your progress would be nice, but a build log would be excellent. I find that I forget to shoot some pics when I'm in the flow of building, I just don't want to stop building to take that photo😄

Sadly there are no 1/14 RC tanks that I know of, so we'll have to make do. Moreover, the trailer is very light, even for a scaled down tank.

Now you could, 3D print a tank, but it would take time. I'm sure that you can find files for a 1/16 or even a 1/25 and scale them up?
I'm gonna do a little build log, when I figure out what I'm doing with it?

3D printing a static tank would be possible, but scaling up an RC kit will present its own set of challenges. Finding bearings for instance, or altering the design to fit standard parts... I love building kits, but redesigning one is a step too far for me.
Still working on the camo on the cab using stencils, next time I'm building a military truck I'm going to look for a quicker, less labourintensive way to do camo. Tips and advice would be appreciated😅

On my camo, for planes, I did this:
Paint everything the light colour first.
Middle colour, I first masked up the light colour. I used a thick masking tape on my cutting mat, and cut out the pattern, then placed it on my model. Once you get it right, firmly press everything down.
Let that dry, then do your darkest colour, exactly the same.

With this build I'm attempting to paint it the way it would be done in real life: green first, the truck comes out of the factory like that, then brown and finally black. All those raises and indentations on the parts made me choose the stencils, but your way seems to be the way to go on the trailer and tank since there are more flat surfaces 👍🏻

I'm not sure which way you're going, but I'd give each one a coat of clear too, before moving on. I used gloss, then obviously added the decals later, then gave everything a coat of Matt.
Most definitely keep your clear parts covered, until you're finished everything!
I'll just add, canopy painting sucks, but looks great when finished correctly. However, I'd still rather paint a truck, than another spitfire, hurricane or ME109. I still have a Mustang P-51 to do, but that's gonna be a Redtail
