There's still a lot to do. I've got the interior printed and the gas tanks, roof spoiler and a few other bits. The wheels, I bought off eBay, simply because they look excellent and save me time and resin. I've yet to check the original length of the truck, so I can trim the frame, but it's gonna happen. Then I can start to move forward with a lot more.

Yes, that's the stuff! Those DIY framerails can make the best builds if carefully measured. I'm looking forward to seeing more!

This is a kinda, "Spare Time" project, but it's kinda taken up pace.
I've been trying to get the other Mack ready for the wife, but hit issues. Basically the hood wasn't printing correctly, but after double figure attempts, I finally got it. Then I went and dropped the primed and sanded side skirts! They're in print as I type.

A minor setback I'm sure. Building these beasts is still modelling, patience and perseverance are required. I love the printed motor and gearbox, just don't forget to leave some space for the servos.

I might have to get clever with the servos? I've ordered metal mounts for them, but I'm thinking about doing it a different way? I also have to mess around with the front suspension, but I think that I've got that in my head. I need my rear axle stuff now, so I can set my ride height. Everything is enroute, I've just got to wait for the postman. I think that next weekend, I'll be very busy! I'm gonna make some templates for the windows, during the evening and see if I can replicate them in clear plastic?

The shift servo is the tricky one here, as ideally you would like to have it in front of the gearbox like the Euro style truck kits have. You could try to find a spot for it behind the gearbox, but there might be a propshaft in the way?
It seems you've got a busy couple of weekends ahead of you 😅

Bummer. Postman claims that he attempted to deliver today at 5pm. The wife and my mum were both at home and nobody came! So I have to wait now, until tomorrow, for my huge haul of parts. This is something that happens here, with our post, now. The postmen are foreigners and they miss out on drops, so they can get in front and get home early. It sucks, and proving it, is hard. Chances are, I was the only delivery in my cul-de-sac, so they skipped me 🙁
Tomorrow is another day though, and I now have another goal to achieve 😉

Postal workers aren't what they used to be. Let me assure you, the trouble you're having with them isn't just a problem over there. The situation sadly isn't much better on this side of the North sea. I've had packages of which the postal services claimed that they were delivered on one Friday, but they actually turned up a whole week later! Being the only delivery in your street is not a valid excuse for them to just not show up, let alone lie about it.
Thankfully it's just hobby materials this time, but this also happens to businesses that get delays and claims due to one person not doing their job properly. Sure, the postal workers aren't paid very well and have to make long days, but if that's not your thing you shouldn't be out delivering packages?
